Dersin Amaç ve İçeriği

Course Objectives: It is aimed to communicate with hearing impaired individuals with the help of sign language.
Course Content: By learning sign language, language structure specific to sign language and its basic concepts, personal gains required for communicating with the hearing impaired individual are provided.

Program Outcomes
1) To be knowledgeable and practical about basic theories and principles of communication, visual communication, design and graphic design
2) To critically evaluate applications related to graphic design and visual communication
3) To have a theoretical and practical infrastructure related to the field and able to solve all kinds of visual design problems
4) To be able to create a contemporary, effective visual language in design, and to be able observe, understand and interrogate the changes in social and cultural structure
5) Be able to develop advertising campaigns and concepts in advertising agencies, design studios, companies' advertising departments
6) To be able to present the projects and gain practical experience
7) To be able to present creative, original, contemporary and aesthetic graphic design products and projects
8) To be able to produce computer aided design projects with graphic softwares
9) To follow changing communication and design viewpoints, to develop professional knowledge and skills
