Dersin Amaç ve İçeriği

Course Objectives: Teaching the basic concepts of immunology, immunological methods based on antigen-antibody interaction and the applications of these methods
Course Content: Within the scope of this course; General information about immunology, antigen antibody concepts, cellular and humoral immune response, natural and acquired immunity, vaccines, agglutination, precipitation, neutralization, radioimmunological, enzyme immunological and immunofluorescence tests will be discussed.

2) Having knowledge about laboratory safety and rules that must be observed in the laboratory, has the ability to determine the risks that may arise in the laboratory and to take precautions against them, to create a safe laboratory environment.
3) Having knowledge about proper sampling and transfer to medical laboratory, has the ability to apply sample acceptance and rejection criteria, perform basic tests.
4) Have the knowledge about laboratory chemistry and calculation information, and have the ability of prepare analysis buffers.
5) It has knowledge and skill to know the relation of medical laboratory tests with body systems, structure and functions, and to associate them with microorganisms.
6) Have knowledge of environmental health and waste management in Medical laboratory practices and have the ability to apply the necessary precautions.
7) Has the ability to know a foreign language in the middle level and use it in professional practice.
