Dersin Amaç ve İçeriği

Course Objectives: The aim of this course is to enable students to comprehend the philosophy of cinema and to approach films from a philosophical point of view.
Course Content: The course covers the basic methods and concepts of film analysis, ontology of photography and moving image, cinema in the context of Plato's cave, cinema and reality relationship, point of view and frame in cinema, affectivity, alienation and ethics.
