| Course Objectives: | To ensure that the unique features of new media are understood and to gain knowledge about the ethical and correct use of new media by raising awareness about online risks and opportunities within the framework of new media literacy. |
| Course Content: | The content of the course includes topics such as increasing individuals' awareness of the dangers that may pose risks in the online environment, things to consider in order to benefit from the opportunities provided by the online environment, ways to access reliable information, and the importance of avoiding ethical violations, new media and new media literacy, threats and opportunities in the new media, trolling, cyber violence, online hate speech, threats to privacy in the new media, protection against false information and dangerous content in the new media. |
