Dersin Amaç ve İçeriği

Course Objectives: Interpreting the past to the present that development and application conditions close to the real environment by providing an overview of the issues being examined and interpreting issues are examined with emphasis on the necessary conditions for successful interpreting
Course Content: In this course students practice in translating the detailed properties of the different types of interpreting, translation and interpretation techniques in group work practice will learn to communicate. Interpreting students to do public speaking and oral interpreters to translate the skills that are needed to be developed.

2) Students will use their language proficiency for translation purposes, in various communication situations, with an adequate level of terminology and specific field knowledge
3) Students will solve the problems encountered in the translation process and develop individual decision-making skills, conduct projects and work harmoniously with the other members of the team.
4) Students will have a full understanding of the cultures of languages as well as a general knowledge at national and international levels.
5) Students will use the latest information and translation technologies for translation and interpretation practices.
6) Students will transfer the written audio and visual source texts to the target language regarding the demands of employee, peculiarities of the source texts, field language and local language.
7) Students will express their ideas orally and in writing in interdisciplinary studies with different fields of expertise.
