Course Objectives: |
The aim of this course is to provide students with the ability to master all stages of a music video production, from concept design to shooting and editing, and to be able to produce and direct a music video. |
Course Content: |
In this course, the entire production process of a music video production will be covered, including the idea and concept design, budget and shooting plan, shooting, editing and distribution stages. In addition to the historical and aesthetic origins of music videos, different types of music video productions such as performance, concept, narrative and concert footage will be discussed and sample productions will be analyzed in the course. In this course, students are expected to create a team of 3-5 people and collaborate with an amateur or professional music artist to shoot a music video and publish the product on various channels (yotube, vimeo, etc.). |
