Dersin Amaç ve İçeriği

Course Objectives: The aim of the course is to increase the students' knowledge about the foundation of the Turkish Republic and the political, social, economic and cultural developments of Modern Turkish History.
Course Content: Overview of the reasons that prepared the collapse of the Ottoman Empire and the Turkish revolution, the disintegration of the Ottoman Empire, the Armistice of Mudros, the state of the country against the occupations, the Kuvayi Milliye and the National Pact. The opening of the T.B.M.M., the National Struggle and the political, social, economic and cultural developments of Modern Turkish History.
