Course Objectives: |
The course aims to enable students to have both theoretical and practical knowledge about packaging design, to produce projects and to make accurate and effective designs in the sector. |
Course Content: |
In the course, students are given theoretical information about packaging design and explained with examples, new developments in this field are examined and presented with visuals. Cardboard packaging knives are taught, creative form work is done and models are made; label design is taught and case studies are made, various materials (Wood, Glass, Corrugated Cardboard, Metal, etc.) are introduced. In line with this information, the student designs a packaging series, works on the graphic analysis on the packaging, makes models and presents it as a project. |
