Course Objectives: | The aim of this course is to teach the students the history and technological development of film and video editing and to provide them with the necessary knowledge and skills to be able to edit films and videos in professional standards and to apply post-production processes |
Course Content: | In this course, students will learn about the technological development of film and television editing and the importance of organized and planned work, which is important for editing. As an important element of a film production team, an editor will be able to reflect this on projects by developing the editing styles and techniques that are open to creativity. In a professional context, editing requires features such as attention to detail, knowledge of digital technology, and the ability to collaborate with the director so that the images and sounds at hand can turn into the intended story. In order to be successful in this area, students are expected to be able to work in professional cooperation with others. |
