Dersin Amaç ve İçeriği

Course Objectives: Examination of documentary cinema considering its historical process, social and political framework, Documentary filmmaking; The functions of the producer and director, visualization and sound in the documentary film, the relationship between documentary and social reality and art will be discussed.
Course Content: In the content of the course, the student will be informed about the birth of documentary cinema, the artistic and social role of documentary cinema, and the technical and artistic documentary production processes of the students. In addition, the student is provided to shoot a documentary film at the end of the semester.
