Dersin Amaç ve İçeriği

Course Objectives: The importance of Writing and Typography courses in Graphic Design Education, history, basic terms, basic writing
it aims to convey practical information about their characters and anatomy.
In the past and present of human history, writing still has a significant specific existence
it continues to maintain and maintain its effective and functional importance in communication.
Thanks to experimental Calligraphy applications, the language should be understandable and the writing should be readable
various different writing materials accompanied by basic letters, writing exercises and practices that will provide,
by creating opportunities to use and experience tools, typographic design criteria are met
it aims to develop creative skills by applying appropriate writing techniques.
Course Content: To have knowledge about writing and designers with Experimental Calligraphy Art education
in addition, basic concepts, basic letter exercises, traditional writing learning methods and
skills are gained in their applications. Students of the Department of Graphic Design, creative
their ability to express their emotions through the art of writing by using their creative thinking powers
improves.

2) Hieroglyphic pictogrammatic writing systems- Chinese and Japanese symbols or fonts, M.He. description of the first signs of Phoenician latin characters, consisting of 22 of the most important signs in human history, which formed the basis of the modern Latin alphabet in the years 1600. 3) Basic preparation stages based on experimental calligraphy applications, basic exercises and transfer of detailed information about this subject by enabling them to recognize letter styles, concepts and characteristics Theoretical Information, visual expression and demonstration
4) The design purpose of experimental calligraphy applications, the way they are applied, the description and demonstration of ink and paints and cut-end writing materials, the description of the ways of use Theoretical Information, visual expression, demonstration and application

12) Principles of creating a floor or using a ready-made floor in designs to be made with classical Latin letters, color, pattern, texture, front and back plane relationships, explanation of uppercase-lowercase and title text writing relationships, and application principles.
