Dersin Amaç ve İçeriği

Course Objectives: The aim of this course is to inform students about the history of art and painting, and to enable them to make fiction using basic elements. The student has knowledge about painting techniques; visualizes personal observations and information. Gains the qualifications of producing original works and developing a language of expression.
Course Content: As the course content, the general framework of the studio 1 course; watercolor, crayon, background figure relationship, lava etc. It covers applications related to the subjects.

Field Specific Competence
1) Student explains the basic elements that make up the picture, create the concepts of line, color, stain, spot. Student also builds the basic concepts on reproduction.
2) Student reveals the features that make the painting a work of art and uses oil painting technique that the material of the picture and color.
3) Student explains the limitations and possibilities of the brush with an example and explains the intermediate colors formed by the mixture of primary colors.
4) Student reveals colors by using elements such as lines, spots, colours, spots while creating a form.
5) Student reveals the forms she has created by making experiments on paper.
