Course Objectives: | It is aimed to give information about Turkish Constitutional Law. In this context, the aim of the course, the Turkish constitutional movements and the Turkish Constitution in general terms before the 1982 Constitution to teach the general lines, then the principles of the 1982 Constitution, the constitution of the fundamental rights and freedoms regime, the provisions of the legislative and executive organs, judicial independence and constitutional judiciary comprehend. In the expression of all these subjects, it is aimed that the students will have a point of view that internalizes the concepts of human rights, state of law and democracy by making connections with the subjects learned in the first semester. |
Course Content: | In this course, Ottoman-Turkish constitutional developments, constitutional basic principles of the Republic of Turkey, political parties regime, the state legislature, the structuring of the executive and judicial fields, the principles and criteria relating to fundamental rights and freedoms regime, issues such as constitutional amendment is discussed. |
