Course Objectives:	The course aims to teach the basic methods of digital photography and video production. It aims to create a basic theoretical and practical basis to support and develop the creativity of the student by having basic knowledge in the field of producing digital photographs and video images.
Course Content:	The course includes learning basic photography and video techniques and terminology, applying basic design principles in photography, analyzing basic texts in the field. The application is included in the course and students are expected to research and shoot for their homework and share their work in short presentations.

2)	Short history of the photo.	Pre-readings on the topics
3)	Features and use of photo camera. How does a camera work? What is a diaphragm? How depth of field effect is produced. Homework.	Pre-readings on the topics
4)	What is a curtain (shutter)? How does it work? How is motion and stabilization effect produced in photography? Homework.	Students are expected to take photographs before coming to the classroom in line with the assignment.
5)	Camera and lens selection. Evaluation of depth of field and motion effect applications.	Students are expected to complete their shooting in line with the subject before coming to the lesson.
6)	Composition in photography I. Practice.	Pre-readings on the topics
7)	Composition in photography II. Practice. Homework.	Students are expected to complete their shooting in line with the subject before coming to the lesson.

9)	Evaluation of composition assignments.	Students are expected to complete their shooting in line with their homework before coming to class.
10)	Light and aspects in photography I. Practice.	Pre-readings on the topics
11)	Light and its aspects in photography II. Practice. Homework. Determination of final projects.	Students are expected to take photographs before coming to the classroom in line with the assignment.
12)	Evaluation of light assignments. An introduction to basic image processing in Photoshop.	Students are expected to shoot in line with the assigned homework before coming to class.
13)	Introduction to video image production. How does a video camera work?
