General Admission Requirements

TURKISH STUDENTS

In accordance with the regulations of the Higher Education Council (YÖK), admission to associate and undergraduate programs in Türkiye is based on the results of a two-stage centrally administered examination system (YGS and LYS). For admission to graduate programs, students are evaluated in line with Istanbul Topkapı University’s regulations based on their undergraduate academic performance, scores from the Academic Personnel and Graduate Education Entrance Exam (ALES), or international exams recognized by YÖK such as GRE and GMAT (for which YÖK determines the minimum success scores), English proficiency for programs conducted in English, and other criteria approved and announced by the relevant Administrative Board.
