Course Objectives: | It aims to provide the ability to analyze various images, objects and areas with a critical approach by developing research, discussion and writing skills on visual culture. |
Course Content: | Explains what visual culture studies are and what kind of research area they require. The social meaning of images can be changed by gender, class, age, etc. analyze it in context. Explains that 'seeing' is a historical and cultural phenomenon. |
