Dersin Amaç ve İçeriği

Course Objectives: Development of human skills in aviation, minimizing accidents through accident hazard management. Professional discipline and the importance of using standard operational procedures.
Course Content: Communication in Aviation, Human Skills, Shell Model, Swiss Cheese, Aircraft accidents, Threat error management, Differences between team and group, Lack of 12 skills, Attitude and Behavior

Program Outcomes
1) Have knowledge about the world cultures and geography.
2) Have knowledge of the national and international civil aviation legistlations and regulations.
3) Have knowledge about the cabin crew member's responsibilities and duties.
4) Have knowledge about the Aviation English and its terminology.
5) Have knowledge about the aircraft knowledge, the theory of the flight, aerodynamics.
6) Have knowledge about the Turkish and English dictation and announcement techniques in the aircraft cabin, and the level to be able to communicate effectively.
7) have knowledge to do manual demonstrations of safety procedures and equipment of the aircraft before take off.
8) Learns to take precautions about emergencies that may occur in advance, to evacuate when necessary, to fight fire, to survive in water and to save lives, to use emergency supplies on board the aircraft.
9) Have first aid knowledge to do everything right and effectively in the aviation industry.
10) Have knowledge about the dangerous goods regulations (DGR) in civil aviation.
11) Have knowledge about the human factor and Crew Resource Management (CRM) in civil aviation
12) Receive information on Safety awareness (Module 1) and Cockpit cabin safety (Module 7) within the scope of SHT 17 -2.
13) Learns and applies ethical rules related to the profession
14) Learns to use the information received in the field for the benefit of society
15) To be able to follow the basic texts in the field of civil aviation and communicate with colleagues by using a foreign language effectively.
16) Learns and uses aviation terminology used in Basic Aviation
17) Has occupational health and safety awareness and awareness of the legal consequences of their duties.
18) Knows the basic level concepts related to business administration.
19) Learns the duties and responsibilities of the General Directorate of Civil Aviation. DGCA vision and mission will have information about the objectives. Knows the types of audits. Knows the basic level concepts related to business administration.
