Specific Admission Requirements

Students who want to enrol in the department must complete the processes determined by ÖSYM within the framework of the academic and legal legislation of the university and must be successful in the exams. The Department of Music, which accepts students with a talent exam, conducts an ear exam that measures the student's sensory abilities in this context, followed by a performance exam in which candidates demonstrate their abilities in the fields of instrument, singing or composition. The repertoire required for the exam is announced on the department's website. Performance-based exams are recorded visually and audibly with a camera.

A student who has started his/her education in an equivalent programme at home or abroad can apply for transfer. The acceptance of students is examined and evaluated before the start of the semester, taking into account the conditions of each student and the degree to which they apply. More detailed information about admission to the University is available in the Institution Catalogue. Students from abroad can take the courses given in the department within the scope of student exchange programmes approved by the University and defined by an agreement.
