| Students newly enrolled in the university may be exempted from some compulsory courses if they are successful by taking the exemption exams held at our university at the beginning of the academic year. According to the scope of the “Regulation on the Principles of Transfer between Associate and Undergraduate Degree Programs in Higher Education Institutions, Double Major, Minor and Inter-Institutional Credit Transfers”; In line with the principles determined by the University Senate, lateral transfer with the score of the central placement exam made by ÖSYM, inter-institutional transfer from other higher education institutions to the equivalent programs of our University, and internal transfer to the equivalent programs of the University are made. Again in line with the same principles, students can enroll in double major and minor programs if they meet the necessary conditions.
- Vertical Transfer-
Candidates who have graduated from associate degree programs with the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS) conducted by ÖSYM can be placed in undergraduate programs that are a continuation of the fields they graduated from. The grades of the courses that are accepted as equivalent that the candidates who will enroll in the undergraduate programs with vertical transfer have taken during their associate degree education are transferred to the Grade Status Document without adding the GPA and the courses to be taken from the program are determined according to the credits of these courses.
Vertical transfer procedures of vocational school graduates to undergraduate programs are carried out in accordance with the provisions of the Regulation on the Continuation of Vocational Schools and Open Education Associate Degree Programs Graduates to Undergraduate Education published in the Official Gazette dated 19/2/2002 and numbered 24676, and the amendments made in this regulation and the principles determined by the Senate.
-Undergraduate Transfer-
Undergraduate transfer and adjustment procedures from domestic and foreign higher education institutions to the University's equivalent diploma programs at the same level or between the University's diploma programs at the same level, Transfer between Associate and Undergraduate Degree Programs in Higher Education Institutions published in the Official Gazette dated 24/4/2010 and numbered 27561. It is made in accordance with the procedures and principles determined by the Senate, with the provisions of the Regulation on the Principles of Credit Transfer between Double Major, Minor and Institutional Institutions and the articles added to the regulation by being published in the Official Gazette dated 21/09/2013 and numbered 28772.
