Dersin Amaç ve İçeriği

Course Objectives: The aim of this course is to prepare the students who take courses in the painting department for the painting workshop course and to give basic art education in parallel with the painting workshop course.
Course Content: As the course content, the general framework of the basic art education 2 course; balance, rhythm, abstract works, color, natural and artificial works etc. It covers applications related to the subjects.

1) Student will be able to use plastic art elements in two and three dimensional applied works.
2) Student uses line types and values in her design, and applies color contrasts in design.
3) Student establishes the relationship between form and space in his design, visualizes the texture differences in design.
4) Student establishes a balance between plastic art elements in design, provides rhythm and movement between plastic art elements in design, uses contrast relations between plastic art elements in design.
5) Student makes designs by observing and abstracting nature, transfers nature observations to drawings, and reflects nature observations to three-dimensional works.
