Dersin Amaç ve İçeriği

Course Objectives: This course aims to teach Atatürk's principles and reforms, analyze the establishment process of the Republic of Turkey and to ensure that students would grow up as contemporary people who know the foundation and development history of the country they live in. The course also aims students to be sensitive to the problems of the country and the world, in line with the Atatürkist thought system, in the light of reason and science.
Course Content: The course includes Atatürk's principles and reforms and the establishment process of the Republic of Turkey. Political, social, economic and cultural transformations of Turkish society from the Ottoman Empire to the Republic of Turkey, the importance of the Turkish Revolution in the context of world history, the phases of the Turkish revolution, the revolutions in the field of politics, education, culture, social life, law, economy, The course includes topics such as the political, intellectual foundations and structuring of the Republic.
