Dersin Amaç ve İçeriği

Course Objectives: To meet the deficiencies of the students in the field of Informatics. To develop computer aided drawing and design skills. To increase two and three dimensional thinking abilities in digital environment. The data obtained is to increase the transfer speeds of digital media. To make use of the computer skills of the AutoCAD program for the preparation of Survey-Restitution-Restoration projects and annexes.
Course Content: Teaching drawing and modeling techniques in two and three dimensions, specific to the topics in the related field. Introducing the interfaces of CAD software. Usage methods of this program. Creating a layout for printing. Print settings and resolution values.

1) arranges its own library by transferring the survey, restoration and restitution projects to the CAD environment.
2) transfers the drawings, restoration and restitution projects to CAD environment at different scales.
3) To be able to draw two dimensional drawings related to architecture.
4) Draws plans, sections, views in two dimensions in CAD environment.
5) Takes the printed drawings with the Printer and Plotter and transfers them to the output environment.

4) To prepare restitution and restoration drawings and its attachments on computer
5) To be able to prepare sketches, to understand the importance of the protection of cultural property and to have the ability to use simple methods of measurement,
6) To be conscious of the historical environment and have a theoretical knowledge about restoration
7) To understand the structure of quantities and costs of construction applications, and to calculate the features tables with exposure numbers of structural elements
8) To read a site plan, plan, cross-section, elevation drawing
9) To recognise education, religious, social, commercial, military structures and their plans and elevation features in Roman, Byzantine, Seljuk, Principalities and in the Ottoman periods and to distinguish them in terms of decorative features, structural features, construction techniques, material types
10) To be able to take professional photos and gaining ability to prepare relievo, restoration, restitution and the project attachments by photographs
