Dersin Amaç ve İçeriği

Course Objectives: The aim of this course is to examine the types of communication throughout the communication history, from the communication tools of the first civilizations to the social media, and to gain the necessary knowledge to predict the future position of communication while determining its current status.
Course Content: Course; nonverbal communication, oral culture and the power of memory, rhetoric and dialectics, written culture, the effect of the alphabet, humanity in the age of printing, humanity in the age of audio-visual communication, humanity in the internet age.
