Course Objectives: | The objective of this course is to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of competition law, also known as antitrust law, from both national and international perspectives. Students will learn about legal frameworks that promote fair competition, prevent monopolies, and regulate anti-competitive practices, focusing on how these laws affect businesses operating in global markets. |
Course Content: | This course covers key aspects of competition law, including monopolies, cartels, mergers and acquisitions, abuse of dominant positions, and state aid. It examines legal frameworks in different jurisdictions, such as the European Union and the United States, and explores international cooperation in enforcing competition laws. |
